Swadeshabhimani Ramakrishna Pillai (1878-1916)
He was born at Neyyattinkara in Thirruvana
nthapuram.
He was the editor of ‘Malayali’ published from
Kollam.
In 1906 he became the editor of Swadeshabhimani.
He was deported from Kerala for criticising the government
in 1910.
‘Karl Marx’, ‘‘Kerala Bhasholpathy’ ‘‘Benjamin
Franklin’’ Mohandas Gandhi, ‘‘Socrates’,
‘‘Dharmaraja Nirupanam’ are his famous works.
‘‘Ente Nadukadathal’’ is his autobiography.
He died on 28 March 1916 at Kannur.
His memorial is situated at Payyampalam in Kannur.
